Over the past 10 days I have been traveling a lot, but have not done much (any) writing. During the next couple of weeks that should change.
I arrived in Las Vegas yesterday from Bellevue, via Salt Lake City. I rented a ‘weekly’ studio for two weeks – because they really don’t do weekly any more …
When I went to pick Ava up for her gymnastics class last night, I found out that Stacia’s friend and roommate, Jade Lynn, was out of town for a week. It was nice of Stacia to tell me – after I spent all the money on this place. This place is actually not too bad – but comes with furniture, but no linens, sheets, pillows, soaps, pots, pans – not even a fricking shower curtain. (I’m now actually surprised that there is a shower curtain rod).
So today, after my first workout of the day at Planet Fitness, I will pick up Ava Kalea and take her shopping to Walmart and the Dollar store. Fun times.
But I am very grateful that I will get to see Ave every single day for the next two weeks – and that I don’t have to stay in this no-tell motel any longer than 14 days. And that the gyms are open here in Nevada so that I can get back to my Joe Abs comeback.
Since Trump is out of office and sleepy, creepy Joe Biden‘s clone is “running the country”, it seems like the Covid thing is going to be winding down. At least California and New York both seem to be opening up again. For me at this point, I am hoping that they at least allow the gyms to reopen.
My goals for the next two weeks are to 1) get Ava out of her mom’s apartment for at least two hours each day 2) two 2 hour workouts each day, 3) writing at least three hours a day – including at least 3 blog posts and 4) applying for at least 3 jobs every day. By the end of the 14 days, I will have done a lot of writing, will be in better condition and hopefully have secured a job – either here on in Salt Lake City.
This is going to be fun! Let’s get to it!
