It’s Going Down – Timber!

Hey Everyone and Happy December 29th 2020 to you!

As you can tell by the title of this post, my thoughts are on a video of John F. Kennedy’s grandchildren singing It’s Going Down – Timber!

As I introduce the day, this post and this blog, I should make sure to let you know that this is the place that I write on a daily basis – well, at least over the past 5 days in a row. A new record? Maybe, maybe now, but definitely a good trend heading into the New Year.

I’m still in Scottsdale, as Mom is trying to get me to stay for “at least a week”. It’s great to spend time with the pars, my knee is recovering after my latest surgery and I’ve even been able to do decent workouts for the past 4 days. As of yesterday, I’m doing several short walks and icing sessions each day and the knee will continue to get stronger and stronger.

Usually I get restless and want to go home after a couple of days, but outside of the Pacific Ocean, my desktop computer, some workout equipment, my Blendtec blender and walking on the beach, there really isn’t anything there for me right now. I’m sure that if I was at home, I would be spending a lot more time thinking about missing little Ava Kalea and her sister Jacqueline Kennedy. It really sucks that I was not able to see them on Christmas or my birthday – and I’m missing them terribly. At least Jackie called me on my birthday.

I guess keeping busy and working on being healthy is the best medicine …
